What’s a good way to celebrate Earth Day? How about a looooong bike ride that helps end the cycle of poverty?! That’s exactly what Tim Bluhm (The Mother Hips) and Kellen Coffis (The Coffis Brothers) are doing. They are taking the long (and earth friendly) way to the Hipnic Festival and enjoying every moment – from Fairfax to Fernwood (that’s 179 miles!) in four days. 

And to make the Ride to Hipnic even more meaningful (than just being in the moment), they are raising some much needed funds for The Blue Rose Foundation and preschool scholarship grants for children in need. Studies have shown that investing in quality preschool for financially disadvantaged children has lasting benefits for that child, their family, their future family, AND society as a whole – making a real dent in the cycle of poverty.
